Eric Y. Lapointe, CEO & Director
Eric Y. Lapointe is CEO & Director of Icarus Capital Corp. Lapointe specializes in marketing strategy, live event management, content development & distribution. Previously, Lapointe served as the President of Now Global Distribution Inc. (And Now Global), a media consulting agency that specialized in international content distribution. Prior to moving to British Columbia, Lapointe was an executive at Just For Laughs and Cirque du Soleil. Lapointe’s entrepreneurial journey includes running a record company, Grenadine Records, between 1999-2004 where he helped launch over 15 releases by over 10 artists, including The Dears (Montreal), Shy Child (NYC) and Melon Galia (Belgium).
Ken Wall, Interim CFO & Director
Ken Wall, CPA, is a BCIT and UBC gradudate that concurrently works at Fernandez Young LLP. He brings a deep background in both small owner-managed compilations and large public company audits.
Scott Robertson, Yuk Yuk’s Calgary General Manager & Operational Advisor
A comedy industry veteran for the past 30 years, Scott is the current GM of the Yuk Yuk’s Calgary comedy club. He has also acted as a Yuk Yuk’s Inc. as a comedy club implementation consultant.
Thomas Bell, Director
An instrumental leader of Icarus Capital’s Board of Directors, Thomas is a former Executive Vice President of Corporate Development at Great Canadian Gaming with substantial public market, investor relations and finance experience. Thomas Bell also sits on numerous community not-for-profit boards.
Howard Blank, Director
A former executive of Great Canadian Gaming and a Director on multiple boards, Howard brings expertise in media, marketing, entertainment, and good governance. Since 2004, Howard has helped raise over $1 Billion for NPOs and received numerous awards, including the King Charles Coronation Medal.
Greg Mulvey, Director
Based in Ontario, Gregy Mulvey is a BBA graduate and now WestJet pilot with a passion for entertainment, Greg provides Icapital with structure and process-management experience.
